About Ivcert
Our mission is to provide comprehensive and accessible education to LPNs in Florida on IV insertion techniques. We strive to empower healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver safe and effective patient care. We promote best practices, enhance clinical competence, and foster confidence in IV therapy among nurses. Through hands-on training and evidence-based resources, we aim to elevate the standards of IV technique education in the nursing field.
How to Become IV Certified!
1. Verify Eligibility
You must hold an active Florida LPN license to enroll. Compact nursing licenses are also accepted; however, this certification is only applicable for practice in Florida.
2. Choose Your Course Option & Register
Select the IV certification option that best fits your needs by clicking the "Sign up" button located at the top of this page:

Online Course with Expert Hands-On Class – Includes online education plus an instructor-led hands-on skills validation session.

Flexible Online IV Certification with Independent Skills Validation – Includes online education with skills validation completed by a qualified independent RN.
Additional details about each option are available during registration. If you select the hands-on course, you will choose your preferred class date and time after payment is completed.
3. Complete the Online Education
Once your payment is processed, detailed course instructions will be emailed to you by the end of the business day. Students should allow adequate time to review the online material and complete the required post-test before completing their skills validation.
4. Complete Skills Validation
For students enrolled in the hands-on course, you will attend your scheduled in-person skills session at our training location in Floral City, Florida. During this session, you will receive instruction, demonstrations, and hands-on practice using training equipment.
For students enrolled in the independent validation option, you will arrange for a qualified independent RN to observe your skills and complete your required competency checklist.
5. Receive Your IV Certification
Once all course requirements have been successfully completed and required documentation has been submitted, your IV certification will be emailed to you. Applicable CEUs will also be submitted to CE Broker.
